The history of the crypt and the chapel
Did you know that Jeanne Mance’s tomb is located at the Hôtel-Dieu, under the Hospitallers’ old chapel? Accompanied by a Museum guide, enter in the Hospitallers’ crypt where 600 Hospitallers are buried. Explore this unique heritage site at the heart of the Cité des Hospitalières’ complex, only recently opened to the public. The visit includes the Museum’s sacred art collection and a stop at the Hôtel-Dieu chapel, built in 1861 by architect Victor Bourgeau.Practical information
The tour is available in English or French and only accessible with a reservation at the dates below for individuals. Groups can choose their preferred time and date, and can request a visit in English.

Groups
Groups of minimum 8 and maximum 25 people can reserve a guided tour during the week, from Monday to Friday, by filling out the form below.
